I was tagged by
nikki4noo and round-about tagged by several others.
1) List 7 habits/quirks/facts about yourself.
2) Tag 7 People to do the same.
3) Don't tag the person who tagged you or say that you tag "whoever wants to" (of course, we all do still have free will so if this isn't your thing... feel free to ignore)
1) I’m a giant geek/nerd/dork (all of the above). I’ve been watching Star Wars, Star Trek, and Batman for as long as I can remember. I used to have a Star Wars X-Wing/Millennium Falcon sleeping bag. I was the kid who introduced Pogs, Pokemon, and Magic The Gathering to my various schools. I still have my MagicTG cards if anyone is up for a round. I grew up with computer geniuses and picked up a lot of it by osmosis/self defense. Only…I look more like a Goth/Rocker.
2) I don’t like having something done for me. I’d rather you teach me how to do it, so I can do it on my own next time.
3) I’m probably one of thepurest…wait that’s so the wrong word least experienced people you will ever meet. I have never smoked*, done drugs*, gotten drunk*, or even been kissed (or asked on a date, had a boyfriend/girlfriend, etc.). I don’t judge people for those things*, it’s just not my cup of tea. Obviously mentally I’m not ‘pure.’(Case in point see stories titled “Lessons”.) And for some strange reason I’m the one all my friends come to for sex advice, dating advice, and family problem help.
4) I’m easily motion sick. I use those pressure point wrist bands so I can function on airplanes, roller coasters, or long car trips.
5) Teachers either love me or hate me, instantly. I’ve had parent teacher conferences where teachers rave about how wonderful and hard working I am, when it’s only 5 days into the school year. (My siblings and myself had very strange school experiences. We were major history buffs and used to get sent to the principals’ office because we corrected the teachers when they were wrong.)
6) When I was younger I made a vow to try and like everything “Regular People” hated or were afraid of. I’ve been pretty successful so far. I love spinach, brussel sprouts, turnips, beets, snakes, bats, and rats. I am afraid of spiders, but I try and have the attitude-if they’re not in my space then we’re ok. I used to be fine with them, but they kept trying to crawl into my ear while I was doing dishes (weird I know and it has happened to me 4 times so far. *Shivers*) Cockroaches get the same rules.
7) I talk in my sleep. Not cutesy, mumbling random things, talk. I will hold a conversation like I am fully awake. My little sister used to harass me at night. She was so bored all day, when we were at school, that she wanted to tell me everything she did and she would literally jump on my stomach if I didn’t answer her. So in self preservation I learned to talk in my sleep. The only problem is I don’t remember anything I say. This also includes moving in my sleep-but not sleep walking. I like to listen to music as I go to bed and I will wake up with the cd/mp3 player put away with the cord wrapped up around it.
**Random bonus fact: I have never smoked but a lot of my family does and they all use different brands. Because of this I can smell just about any cigarette and tell you what brand/type it is. This also led me to find out that I am allergic to certain cigarettes. When I smell them my throat swells up and I can’t see or breathe easily at all. This usually takes about 2 weeks to go away.
I tag…hmm. A lot of people have already been tagged or done this already. So if you want to do it consider yourself tagged. I’m enjoying reading about people! But I also tag:
mach1n3
fishspots
araglas
selinamoonfire
snowdarkred
shingo_the_pest
swing_set13
Because all those above know that they don’t have to do it if they don’t want to.
