Shakespeare, Shakespeare everywhere! I dunno if the prevalence of Shakespeare references around me are just more noticeable since I watched "As You Like It", but I don't think I really noticed any references until I settled on a quote to use in a Shuttle!Verse chapter. Whatever it was, there are now Shakespeare references everywhere and I am loving it. I keep getting all starry-eyed.

Being on a literary kick, let me share with you more of my geeky-ness.

Recent conversations have led me to thinking about religious studies. Now don’t worry I’m not about to get all religious on you. I’m talking about classes I took for my English degree. I cheated some in the “taking classes” area. If you were in the honors program some of the classes you took from that department counted as other requirements. This was AMAZING. Nothing quite like being required to take an agricultural class (like the uses for natural gases) and instead being able to take “Thomas Jefferson: The man, the legend” instead. (One of the AG professors was in love with T.J. and as such offered a fantastic class on him. He would give out prizes in class. Wine, cider, books, specialty mugs. But I digress.)

Blah, all this reminiscing has me thinking about other fun classes. Or other class moments. (Because as much a pain in the butt those two classes were with the Evil professor, the man was funny, and as we put on his evaluation “he knows everything about everything.”) I may do further reminiscing in the future. “Vampires as Literature” “The Origin of the Child” (GOD that was an amazing class too! Loved discussing how children became “innocent” in literature.) “American Literature II” (Typee discussions!), My Shakespeare classes (It’s all fruit!- Inside joke I can explain). “Children’s Literature”, “Modern Literature” (Shit class, the professor was also a crazy person. Literally everyone failed and the curve was insane.) I'll probably talk about us categorizing our professors as mythical creature. (We had a mummy, troll, faerie, werewolf, and so on.)

I think I’ll also see if I can find any of my old work from my Creative Writing classes.

I feel so good. No really, like I can accomplish something again. I hope this feeling lasts for a long time, especially since I haven't felt this way in forever. I'm also in a weird mood, as such have a crazy video:

Hmm so I should really be studying for my last final of the semester (Chemistry) which is tomorrow at 1:30, but I'm not. No really. Instead I'm here (obviously) posting this, listening to Skillet's Monster repeatedly on youtube, drinking a glass of Plum Wine (random capitalization is fun), and reading through all the things I've written, editing and trying to re-grasp story-lines of things I need to update. I feel a little lost doing this, but eh, eh I'll get it done.

You guys....I just handed in my thesis. Next week are our presentations, and then I am no longer officially banned from LJ.

I shouldn't really be posting now, but hell, my presentation is half done and I've been awake for 26 hours and I still have 8 more to go, assuming I don't crash spectacularly on my drive home due to sleep deprivation.

I just took a chemistry test that I mostly dozed through, including a question that asked "What is the emf?" and I wrote "When he plays piano" and then had to erase and remember what I was doing. Needless to say I bombed it spectacularly. And I don't care. My thesis is in, and soon life as I know it can resume.

And just so you know, I haven't forgotten a single story. Or our lovely comm. <3!

Lordy I can't wait until it's the 7th!

I got home just in time to see his victory run. OMG that last set. I can't even. Snowboarding was the only thing I wanted to see for sure this Olympics. I missed it, but I'm planning on staying up till...late/early to catch the re-run this morning.

On other news, I've finished typing up my fill for prompt #4. I'm tweaking the dialogue and then it's all set for me to find a beta!! \0/

I had something else I wanted to say....um...OH! I'm such a dork. I got "The Pick-Up Artist" from Netflix. I was so excited. It's a Molly Ringwald and Robert Downey Jr. Movie from the 80s. And it was awesome, but I'm an 80s NERD.

Before we get to that portion of the proceedings I would like to say...REJOICE! I have found my Twister DVD! I can finally continue writing that AU!!! Damn that was driving me crazy.

Second I would like to ask...WHY are there no Kirk/McCoy Lawyer AUs? Seriously how much do I love Lawyer AUs? It's also probably the only thing that I know, without a doubt, that I could never write. *pouts*

Now for my brain on crack...

So I've been re-watching my way through Trigun. (*Drumroll please*) And guess which Character plot bats (HA I've decided to name mine bats. It's only appropriate) have bitten me?

Does anyone on my flist even know what Trigun is? Anyway. Of course Sam and Jim are prefect for Knives and Vash! Spock could be Wolfwood and McCoy is Meryl. Though I'm not sure who Milly would be? I could even plan it out so that it was in 26 chapters just like the number of episodes.

Buuuuuut. There's no way I'm starting THAT anytime soon. I'd rather start that Neverwhere AU I had planned out. And before that I need to finish all these other things on my plate.

So in conclusion. My Brain. It is on crack.

So I've been working on my entry (entries?) for prompt #4 and I've hit a roadblock. Part of that being my usual problem of too many ideas at once and a lack of a sorting mechanism. Anyone able/free to talk over storylines a bit?

I have 3 ideas right now and if I'm lucky I'll finish all of them, but I'd really like to finish one first. I need input on which one of them works best with what I've written so far.
